So I know spring race season is still several several months away, but by the end of this month I will have run all the races I’m signed up for, and I feel the need to be signed up for something to keep moving forward, so I’ve started thinking about March-May already. So yesterday I posted my October goals, tonight I went back to edit them because I made a fairly significant typo. My goal for my first half is 2:43, NOT 1:43. Yeah that would be sweet and all, but I would die, literally. For realz. I may alter the corrected goal before race day, we’ll see. I’m kinda thinking I could do a little better.
Ringette practice the morning after running 21K is kinda hard. I felt like no matter how fast I thought I was moving my legs, it just wasn’t happening. Surprisingly though, I;m actually not sore at all, just tired legs. Oh well, I had a better practice than those at home still in bad right?
I’m really excited for this month, the weather is sure to be great, I’m set to run my first half-marathon, and then in turn get my body back to a more regular eating/exercise plan.
