In the spirit of Do Life Challenge week 6, yesterday was not a “rest” day, but an active recovery day. The weekend was hard on my body, as of yesterday at noon, my obliques were screaming in pain with every step I took (dang side planks with row). So, I took it easy yesterday and ended the day with 20 minutes of stretching before bed. It always feels so good, it’s always what I need, but I so often skip it.
Don’t underestimate the power of active recovery!
