Between ringette playoffs, work, 4 weeks of travel, and nice weather making me want to be outside, I hadn’t been to the gym in a month. So, tonight I ended that streak.
Did 4 miles of intervals on the treadmill, creating these awkward circular sweat stains on my shirt. Followed up with a few upper body weights, but I’ll be honest, I felt a little lost after my absence from the weight room and I kind of flaked out early. I was also a little worried about lifting too much after such a break and making it hurt so bad for my race this weekend. Don’t want that.
At least I went, that’s step #1. Next time, I’ll go with a better game plan.
